I have been planning to add resin covered wood slices to my product line for a while now. Slowly learning the skills on how to apply. As it happened my son, who has his own tree service company, Southern Rooted Tree Care, in Charlotte NC obtained a couple of really neat slices of sweet gum. I took one of them and turned it into the table above. Took about 3 coats of the blue/clear resin to make the water look, then about 4 coats of clear to balance and smooth out the wood
